The Department of NY American Legion Baseball Committee is thrilled to announce that starting from this season, American Legion Baseball will have a new age level for 13-15 year-olds (‘Prep’ Level) in New York State! This is a great opportunity for young players who want to develop their skills and compete with their peers in a fun and supportive environment.

American Legion Baseball is the nation's oldest and most respected youth baseball program, with a rich history of producing champions and leaders on and off the field. The program emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, patriotism, and community service.

The new Prep age level is designed to bridge the gap between the younger and older divisions, and to provide a smooth transition for players who are moving up from Little League. The new age level will follow the same rules and regulations as the Junior and Senior age levels.
