July 2nd at Murnane Field 

The District 5 American Legion Baseball Committee will host its annual Legion Day Event at Murnane Field in Utica on Saturday July 2nd.  There will be four (4) games played:

GAME: 1: Charles J Love Post 406 Juniors vs Clonan Post 1000 Juniors at 10:00AM

GAME :2: Ilion Post 920 Juniors vs New Hartford Post 1376 Juniors at 1:00 PM

GAME: 3: Arthur S Moran Post 66 Seniors vs Utica Post 229 Seniors at 4:00PM

GAME: 4: Whitestown Post 1113 Seniors vs Henry P Smith Post 24 Seniors at 7:00PM

Prior to game 3 there will be a special recognition of the Herkimer Community College Baseball NJCAA DIII National Championship Team with players available for autograph signing.

Additionally, there will be various District 5 American Legion Baseball Managers, Coaches and personnel providing information about the American Legion Baseball Program.  Anyone interested in playing American Legion Baseball next season should be sure to stop by the information tent.

Admission will be $3.  Kids under 12, Veterans with ID, current American Legion players are free.  No outside food, drinks or alcohol allowed.  All proceeds will go to the District 5 American Legion Baseball Program.
